Thanks for the progress pix, Paul. The 3 eyed plant I picked up this year had rabbits trash two of the eyes. Good to see it should recover pretty quickly.

Looks terrific.
Mine has a way to go to catch yours. zone 6....mostly shade.
This is earlier in the year and it has jumped some since.

So now I see what my Little Treasure could be. Time to move it.

Paul, I'm amazed pic 4 and 5 are the same hosta... what a change.

Great post. Little Treasure is a beaut and seems to always look nice throughout the season. It is one of the best in early spring.

Very Helpful Post, I think I need to do more photography. I liked it a lot, all filled out before the Leaf Widening, and WITH the Leaf Widening...they could be two different plants.

I especially like it before the leaf widening. It almost looks like it's giving off sparks.

Here's a four year old Little Treasure. One of my favorite small hostas.

Thank you for sharing. As someone new to hostas, it's particularly helpful to see the progression of plants to give me a sense of what to expect when I start my new bed.

When I look at the first picture, I can't envision the beauty that it will become. And it's a beauty. Love it!
