I have two separations of the same mother. You can see even here differences in the margin.

I bought two Valley's Glacier hostas from Naylor Creek several years ago. Mine look pretty much like First Frost. If you want wide margins, I'd recommend Autumn Frost or Ben Vernooij. Ben Vernooij has thicker leaves, but is slower growing than Autumn Frost.

Don, thanks, for the recommendation. I actually have all 3 of those - First Frost, Autumn Frost and Ben Vernooij. Love them all, probably why I'm attracted to Valley's Glacier as well. They are all different in my eyes, my Ben doesn't look much like my Autumn Frost, but they are similar. I think I'm going to add this one, since I love these types so much.

Funnthsun, I planted Valley's Glacier about 3 years ago, and likely it was two when I received it. It's in an area in the bed that only receives minimal amounts of light ~ always filtered. So it's slow growth and thin margin could be a result of that.
