I did my good deed for the day-there was a house in my neighborhood that was having plumbing work done and they had to dig really close to the house and they had some really big hosta they had dug up. They were just laying in the yard, so I backed my car up and told the lady that I lived in the neighborhood and I really liked her hosta that she had to dig up. At first, she thought I wanted to take it off her hands (wish I could've) but then I told her to cover the root ball or at least water it and for goodness sake don't cover it with a black trash bag. I also told her about Ken's taping tip for the leaves. She seemed like she would at least tape the leaves up, but I went back by her house and the hosta was in a black trash bag and I don't think the leaves got taped up. Grr�I hope it makes it-I should have just told her to throw it out on the driveway!
