Made my hand look tiny

Yikes! Some big ones at the zoo. I am impressed with the second picture of the leaf. It is like corrugated sheet metal, tin roof stuff. That is a plant with super heavy substance.

Did you get any more pictures? I'd be interested in seeing them. Thanks for sharing these two.

if it was columbus... home of dick ward .. and a zoo .. i might think it might have be a T Rex

Looks like Blue Angel.

I thought Blue Angel as well. I have not seen deep veins like that on my Blue Angels, however, the leaf pictured appears to be the damaged leaf in the left front of the plant which has suffered some trauma and my be dying (?) which may explain the very deep veins (?)

I have one other pic I think f it with some petasites..there leaves were at least 2 ft across. I am more than happy to "borrow" things from the zoo but there wasn't anything small enough to make it not noticeable lol. They were blue but it was raining so the color maybe a bit off
