could be ventricosa... but the ruffled edges look a little more prominent than typical ventricosa... if it is a named hosta, first one that comes to mind is Party Favor.

or maybe Candy Dish?

I really think this is Holly's Dazzler. If the leaf tips are twisted like a spit curl (pardon the expression, I'm from another era), then it will be Holly's Dazzler.

This is my picture of it.

This one shows the leaves better, the scape is washed out by sunlight I think.

Incidentally, it is listed as a fragrant flowered hosta. How fragrant is subject to debate. :) This is my vote though.

The MyHostas.be web site says this about Holly's Dazzler....a selfed hybrid of Holly's Honey, and part of the ventricosa family. As well as being fragrant....

The purple flowers dazzle me but - They are NOT fragrant! The buds are more purple without as much white striation before they open up.

The unknown cups upward... Holly's Dazler cups down... keep looking...
