I had some garden visitors night before last. I did not go out yesterday like I normally do each morning, but when I went out last night it looked as though the deer had been rototilling my Hosta beds. They had buried some of the smaller ones and throw mulch on the bigger ones, BUT they did not eat one leaf?? What were they looking for, with the rain and humidity we have had here there has been a lot of mushrooms and different type of fungus? Growing on top of the mulch, do you think they were looking for that? I have to admit when I first walked out there my heart sank, because I could tell they had been thereâ¦any thoughts?? PS.. I use Liquid Fence regularly, but I had been out of town for 10 days and with all the rain I thought it had washed off.
