H. 'Awakening Angel'

My year two hosta Awakening Angel is a standout in my garden with its almost turquoise color throughout most of the season. It's aptly named because its leaves do look like angel wings. I'm proud to say that it is one of the two photos that I submitted to the contest that will go into the Hosta Library - which is a very big deal for me!

Congratulations on getting one of your pictures into the Hosta Library! (It would be a big deal for me too if I had a picture worthy photo for the Hostal Library.)

I like the shape of the leaves---long and pointed.

I have this one too. I keep meaning to put it in a bigger pot since it's outgrowing the four inch one it's in now, but I've been too lazy to do it. It is a really nice blue color and it'll be interesting to see how it looks as it matures.
