| Sweet Home Chicago. Taking the drought in stride, this one has not had regular watering this summer. By contrast, Veronica Lake right next to it is a heat stressed mess.
It is probably 8 yrs old and 4' across. Tough plant. Sandy |

| It's really interesting which ones look good in the heat. Last year, when we had the extreme drought and heat (and two spring hail storms), mine all seemed to be equally ugly. However, the arboretum's hosta were everywhere from melted to seemingly unfazed. I was so impressed with two of their stars that I bought them last fall - Victory and X-rated. bkay |
