I don't have any fancy hosta or many of them, but flowers of any kind are welcomed any time....Rina

I'm a sucker for flowers on any hosta - fancy smancy - or run of the mill. I love my Fried Bananas.

Dona

Beautiful blooms...
A mini blooming; it use to be just a very small clump, now another grew in same pot with all green leaves. I read here that they should be separated...and snails really like this one.

Beautiful garden! Thanks for sharing. I especially like the 2nd picture with the yellow hosta and the heuchera.

First time I ever saw a Royal Tiara. Did not realize it had the fancy stitched midleaf. That is a lovely plant.

Linda

Thank you, everything is in pots for now, so there could be a new companion any time...I think that yellow is a Golden edger, a small hosta - but I am not sure.

I didn't know what this hosta is, it was ID-ed here. I thought it had damage:-)
Here is a photo of it earlier in the spring.

Yikes, that is so pretty! No damage, that is called stitching. I love it!

And the one above with the new eye that is solid green.
The variegated one looks like Masquerade to me. And, if that solid green is its sport, the sport would be named Munchkin. I have both of those.

By all means, separate out the greenie from Masquerade. I don't know what Munchkin costs these days, but Masquerade costs about $10/plant, and they make lovely edgers. If not split, I think the greenie will take over the whole plant. But of course both are good hosta.

Here is mine I have it planted in a bowl with other minis, they are not part of the same plant.

Thank you for that info.
I appreciate the ID too, I like to have another 'new' plant.
