Part 2...I dug out all the extra/to sell hostas in the front half (probably around 65+)

Part 3...took out the grass between and made a path. Next weekend I plan on digging the holding bed plants, tilling, re-planting, mulching, and making a stone path. I'll post the finished pics when I am done!

Jennaj - That's an ambitious project your undertaking. Will look great when its completed. By the way, where do you sell your duplicate hostas?

Ken, I plan to do some type of stone and moss in between...I am open to suggestions though!

looks like you border a forest....you must have a big yard then. Looks good so far like what you are doing.

Thanks everyone! I am on about a 1/2 acre, and 1/4 of it is dense woodlands. There is another development behind me, but we cannot see them in the summer. There are alot of Ash, Oaks, Elm, & Maples in the back. I will post pics once I have completed it! Happy Gardening!

Looks great so far, Jenna. I like that you've curved your stone path. Are you familiar with Irish (green) and Scotch (yellow) moss, which has tiny white flowers when in bloom? It looks really pretty between stones and can take some foot traffic. I've used the Scotch grass and found that it spreads quickly but is easy to control.
