Aw, don't feel put out, Donna...I think she meant well. I mean, for a New Yorker she was practically Miss Congeniality there! :)

I do love how we all pile on photos, info, and advice over here, as I think it helps to compare, discuss, etc. But you should feel welcome all over Gardenweb...no one (well, hopefully not many!) sets out to offend.

I used to frequent the daylily forum a lot, but with so many people posting new threads with pictures of their flowers every day it got to be too much to keep up. I go there once in a while but too often anymore. The hosta forum is where I go to first then a few others. Anyway, yeah, it's been that way over there for a while. But sometimes a thread pops up inviting everyone to share their own photos, and in the winter, like in here, they have the daylily alphabet where everyone posts a picture of a daylily starting with a certain letter, and each thread is a different letter. The lady in question is very nice, I don't think she meant to be rude, just trying to tell you that's how things are over there. And with so many new threads added every day, especially now during peak daylily blooming season, it is easier to get people to look at your photos if you have your own thread.
