Another happy Hallson's customer...

It's been hot and sunny the last week, but today was nice and overcast...perfect hosta traveling weather. :) In usual form, Chris' plants arrived looking lovely with nice beefy roots.

From left to right (come on, tell me its upside up this time!):

Rockets Red Glare--the ever generous bonus hosta...my 6 year old son has claimed this one as his because of the cool name

Sun Power--thanks to many of you for pushing me that way...I love it already

Guardian Angel--this was my "must have it" hosta. Love at first sight!

Krossa Regal--lovely and full of dormant eyes

June--Also well-rooted and ready to put on a show next spring. June was my "gateway drug" into hostas. After seeing one in a local garden, I was enchanted. So happy to have my own leading lady!

Flower-frenzy, can't wait to see what you picked for your fall order! You must have some great hosta beds in the works.

I am really impressed with Rocket's Red Glare. In pictures I've seen the reds and haven't had the "gotta have it" reaction, but in person it truly is striking. I also love that its a nice wavy green to complement my wavy yellow (Sun Power) and blue (Krossa Regal). Perfect!

Jadie, those are impressive bare root hostas. Being Canadian, I wish I could buy Hallson hostas but unfortunately I can't.

Hallson is a class act ... they are genuinely interested in helping ALL hostaphiles. Although they have no chance of profiting from helping a Canadian, they have given me advice on a couple of occasions. I have really appreciated their help.
