Lovely afternoon at In the Country Gardens

Was very happy to be able to attend the "Hosta and Dessert social" at In the Country Gardens and Gifts today. Such lovely display gardens and very friendly and knowledgeable folks. I enjoyed meeting Josh and his family, and picking up some beautiful new plants.

Thanks for the additional pictures! I agree, it is great to be able to see mature plants. It looks like they have some beautiful gardens there and you made some nice purchases! I have Neptune and Liberty which are some of my favorites.

Well, as a follow up to the lovely event at In the Country Garden and Gifts, I entered a photo in the Hosta Social Photo Contest on Facebook and won a gift certificate!!! Now, how do I decide what to get from all the amazing choices- every time I check my list gets longer -

Hi Althea,

Beautiful purchases. Photos 4 and 5 both show cream edged blues on the left. Are these both Lakeside Hazy Morn? My first thought was that photo 4 shows Regal Splendor. Maybe they are a lot alike.

We don't get the Lakeside hostas, so I'm not familiar with them.

I guess I can't count - I was referring to photo #5 (my purchases) being Lakeside Hazy Morn. I don't remember what the one in #4 is, but know for sure I saw Regal Splendor in the display garden. Thanks for catching it!

I saw Lakeside Hazy Morn in some else's cart and had to stop and ask what it was :-)
