It looks like Great Expectations to me for some reason but I'm guessing.

Actually, the second one looks like Paul's Glory. I'm looking at mine out the window right now and they are pretty similar.

Thanks for the suggestions, so the first one not GS, it did do a shrinking disappearing act like GE, it shows no corrugation though, like PG or DW, I think I may need to wait to see if it ever gets bigger to ID it. The second one I thought I had right we, the center does lighten up to beige as the summer progresses but I can't find a photo. Just curious why you think this one is not GS?

It doesn't look like Gold Standard. Gold Standard is smaller and less obvious. Paul's Glory is out there, in your face. It's not timid. Mine is in too much sun right now and is turning parchment. It's a gorgeous hosta. It was large when I bought it. I'd recommend it to anyone. I'm very impressed with Paul's Glory.

Gold Standard has not gotten really big for me. It is beside Mississippi Delta this spring.

Then in August 2012 showing some bleaching of the leaves and some new growth as well. It can bleach out almost cream colored.

Actually, I think the larger hosta looks like Gold Standard. Especially since it does bleach in the sun.
