This is why I don't buy hostas here

A local nursery that has had a lot of suspicious plants in the past. These are new this season. Too bad because they always carry a great selection.

Should be a poster for HVX. Thanks, Tim. The more pics of diseased hostas the better educated everyone will be.

I think you're right, Babka, we do need more pics (or perhaps I just need to look at more). The few pics I've seen of HVX diseased plants, the plants seemed to be splotched with brightly contrasted colors, like Gunther's Prize. I wouldn't have know these had it. Yikes.

Sad. Have you approached the nursery about it? Maybe find out who their supplier is?

Yes, they have been made aware on a couple of occasions. It's been a problem for several years. They've made no attempt to resolve the issue. Every year there are more.
