I've been growing Great Arrival for several years and it was big and beautiful. However, this year it came back at 1/3 the size it had been. All of the other hostas around it came back fine. So I am not sure what happened. It had plenty of water all summer. Oh well, at least it came back.

Hostanista, I only have Great Arrival but Cotton Candy has piqued my interest. GA is a faster grower than Great Expectations. It's been in this spot for 3 years now. The leaves get huge and I just noticed now that they're developing a nice rippling. Excuse the tears in the leaves, he got abused by my DH. I asked him to rake BETWEEN the hosta pips not over them. GA is a lot like Linda Sue, the sport of Frances Williiams. You're really going to like this one.

NHL - you produce one pristine hosta after another...without fail! They are stunning - each and every one. Wow!

I only have one of those three: GA, new this year. Nice size, but margins are rather narrow compared to some of th above pics.

As to CC, I can't warm up to the streaked ones. Interesting, but not for me. Those who love them can have them!

Mikgag, that's interesting, I had one solid yellow eye on GA this spring, now changing to viridescent. How are you dealing with your solid yellows?

I just rip them off for now. If I get ambitious next year I'll actually divide the yellow eyes out.
