Bought this one at the Convention in 2010, a sport of Whirlwind. Has show decent growth each year. A darker green (darker than leaf pic) with a sliver of white/cream up the mid-rib.

I think you and I have similar taste in hostas :)

Here is my Victor (one of my favourites):

I find it difficult to take good photo's of this one since every leaf seems to go in a different direction.

I'm looking for some dark greens to put in between all the variegated ones. This would fit the bill. Will need to look for it.

Hostahosta and MsTrecke, if you want to start a thread on DARK GREENS, I will be ready to jump right in.

I don't have Victor myself, but I have a great many dark greens. They come in all sizes and all rugosity from smooth and shiny to ruffly and wrinkled. And I love em all! :)
