What hosta is this.

Certainly could be. Looks like a younger plant. Ive been told after about 3 years the leaves should be the size of dinner plates. Mine is 4 years old and has leaves that size for 2 years.

They'll be smaller in warmer areas.

Good to know about smaller in warmer climates. Does that apply to all hostas in warmer zones?

As far as I know, it applies to all hosta.

Note: read about bob solberg's north of I-80, south of I-40 theory. I think it is right on target. In between is the transition zone and, in the north, hostas always are larger.Check out the Hosta Journal Vol 44, Number 1, pp 67-68.
..'north is always the larger number, the first number.
Mini: up to 8-inches; up to 7-inches
Small: 9-14-inches; 8-11-inches
Medium: 15-22-inches; 12-18-inches
Large: 23-29-inches; 19-24-inches'
Giant: 30-inches-up; 25-inches-up.
