We have had the PERFECT Hosta year so far, good solid rains so often the Hosta have all but swam in it.. good sun here and there, NO FREAKING HAIL !
And now some heavy hard growing humid days.. they are just looking like warriors in the garden.

I had an eye I roughly separated from a Sugar Daddy seedling.. it had reverted green. I barely had anything more than the joint where three legs met... I stuck it in the dirt next to the original plant, no tape nothing, I broke all Kens rules.. that thing layed there like thrown out lettuce from a salad bar in Texas. Rain ..heat ..sun..rain..heat sun.. Now this thing is half eaten but standing up like a piece of piano wire.. I think I saw it bite a rabbit earlier.
