I looove those multi-colored hostas

This Shade Fanfare was purchased last year so its the first season in my garden. I couldn't be more impressed with it. It is right outside my office window and I love looking at it. Those multi-colors are stunning.

Orange Marmalade is another one that gives out multi-colors

I moved Stained Glass this year and it is looking more interesting to me now. Believe it or not I was not a fan of this one and had moved it several times because I just didnt like it. Now I am a fan - look at those many colors going on.

Summer Music is also one that will show a yellow color to the leaves. I tried to get a good picture of it but for some reason I cant. The camera is just not picking up on the beauty of this hosta.

Gorgeous! I especially like 'Shade Fanfare'. That one has been on my wish list for a while now.

I have two Shade Fanfare's and the differences between the one in the shade and the one in sun till about 1pm are pretty substantial.

I don't have a picture to show, but I will say the one in shade is not changing colors at all and is very pristine, smooth, and evenly colored green/cream exactly like your darkest leaves.

The one in the sun has even more color changes than your photo, mostly light gold/green color, and is very puckered/rugose! With the amount of light it receives, it really brightens up the spot and is visible from some distance away.

Amazing how you can have two of the same plant, but because of differing lighting conditions - they don't even look like the same hosta!

How about a single color - multiple shade hosta. This is my green 'Captain's Adventure' - never showed its regular colors.
