A lonely Earth Angel on the hill.

2 Earth Angels in front of 2 Spartan Junipers, that are in bad shape from the deer invasion of last winter

A row of 6 Sagae...

....added to the four previously plants.

On the berm that is nursing 3 Weeping Blue Nootkatensis (deer again) and has a new weeping cherry tree added.

I'm counting on a nice display on the berm.

A couple of Sagae on either side of the steps leading down to the shed.

New row of four Earth Angels, up top on the Ravine.

Two more Earth Angel added to the 4 existing from last year.

Row of three Sagae added recently.

Sagae added where the ravine splits.

The Knoll further on from the Ravine with 3 new Sagae added.

I wouldn't have added so many of the same kind if I didn't have a lot of room to fill up. They say the secret to a nice garden is repetition. If that is true it should look nice around here next year.

I hope they sell out soon.

Looks like you're doing some power planting, Mr. Jon.

Should look GREAT in a couple/few seasons.

Might I suggest you plant some Sagae. lol Repetition is good. I love the little building with the wheel attached.

14 just today Don. Maybe it might be an idea to start a thread on how to plant hosta w/pictures. A little late now but I like to dig out a big hole, amend with manure/compost, flood with water, mound into a mud volcano, spread the roots over the volcano, cover with wet amended soil, mulch and shower again. I sure am getting a lot of practice. I should have made a picture tutorial for newbees.

DD, if I go near there again I might add more. I'm waiting until they mark down the section of larger hosta which they are holding off on.

The shed is quite old 12-13 years?

Bought a little 'addition' on the other side, Never use it...but wasps and mice do.

At the risk of life and limb, added a cupola and an eagle weathervane (that only works in gale force or higher winds) so you only know the direction of the last 45 MPH wind .

Openable tinted windows and flower boxes. Western red cedar...doesn't rot. Ramp, storage loft, vents. Really nice.

Baseball cap birdhouse, lanterns, bell and wagon wheel did not come with it.

For what it cost you can only buy a metal shed today. Two guys lugged it down the hill in pre-fab sections and assembled it on a PT foundation and put the plywood roof on and shingled it in a day. 2x4s, 16 inches on center, exterior plywood floor and ramp with PT joists. Very well made.
