Never heard of shape weeding before...but I like it!

I never heard of it either - I kinda just made it up as I went along. Had to weed anyway so I just started pulling out weeds to make a basic shape and the shape in this case was obvious. I (heart) hostas!

Very cute! I think that heart would look nice in any garden.I wonder why heart shaped beds aren't more common? Maybe too hard to mow.

I wish I could make the shape of complete obliteration in my goutweed. I'd like to recreate the feel of a dust bowl, or maybe a crater, when it comes to that stuff.

Hostanista, shape weeding is a creative concept. Looking into my crystal ball, I percieve a very positive person who is always looking on the bright side of things. Most people approach weeding with a sense of dread.
