That's awesome. Best I've ever seen a pile of weeds look for sure. Almost makes you want to keep them!

Good gawd....transplant Forget-Me-Nots? No thanks, they do that job all by themselves. Hard to believe they are actually for sale at the garden centers! There are a million and one out here and no matter how many I pull out and burn, a thousand more come back the next year.

The other weed is STINKY BOB, a type of wild geranium.

I have to admit though, in the spring, the flowers of the FMN are very pretty. There's just too many of them....

try to remember.. in spring to follow up with a pic in bloom ...

Hostanista, that's the most lovely and imaginative use of forget-me- nots I have ever seen. I have them all over too....pull them all you want and they still come up to cheer you each spring. Love the fact that they are easy to pull but I don't get rid of all of them....they are such a sweet part of spring and look beautiful among tulips, daffodils, crocus, hyacinths etc.

It'll be quite the picture in spring!

I need to do some weeding too,but I have another problem with weeding;it's called weeding on a steep hill! If I make a mistake,I could fall downhill,and wipe out several hosta! I thought about using roundup,but there's always the problem with destroying some hostas,that are nearby. Still,that heart-shaped patch of weeds is neat! Phil

Phil, don't worry about it...stay safe. If you really need to weed, have someone else get in there for you, if possible. You have beautiful hosta...who'd ever notice weeds??
