Thanks for the info, mountainy. That is a shock.

With all the wonderful hosta that are on that list, why would they choose something obscure, plain and slow growing that doesn't "show it's stuff" until fully mature?

Seeing the one growing in my neighbor's backyard, I have to admit I like it quite a bit. But I never would have bet it would beat out Atlantis, Journey's End, Manhattan, or Satisfaction!! (or some others)
