Be seated ladies

I am partial to my Ravine area, however when ladies visit they will admire the ravine and other areas, however they seem to like my Meditation area best.

It lies at the bottom of a hill.

It is ringed with 8 boxwoods, 6 mountain laurels, 16 Minutemen and a paver ring.

One concrete (flanked with Patriots) and one wrought iron and wood bench with a couple of Hydrangeas.

A Pagoda ringed with Brim Cups and DeGroots Spires. The large temple on the left has a base of a large pot, a large tray inverted on it it and another small tray; painted black and faux painted with green to look old. I can be clever sometimes.

A bird bath surrounded by Whirlwinds, Guard Frogs on the concrete bench, more pavers and slates at the foot of the wooden bench. Usually there is a nice field of variegated vine, but it suffered a lot from the winter weather.

The bench has a nice view through the pines leading to the ravine.

I thought everyone might enjoy it and 'Namaste' to all.

Such a nice serene setting in which to meditate. What the heck are Guard Frogs!! lol

Very, very lovely.
I'm attempting to create something similar, but in a large garden. :) I'm not lucky enough to have a ravine with your spot as a destination. How do you ever walk back up?

annoyingly wonderful!!!!

would love to get lost there. And so much MORE real estate for hostas!

DD, guard frogs protect against elephants...of course.

Its a great place to sit still and wait for birds to come get a drink Kathy.

CEF, I usually have Shasta with me and she gives me a tow up the rocks, the hill or whichever way she wants to walk me.

Its a great place Kate. If I really want to contemplate the universe I light some tea candles in the holders and float some lit ones in the bird bath. Fire, water, earth, air and quintessence; all the ancient elements.

Dave, I never thought I would take being called annoying as a compliment.

Jon, very well thought out and pleasing to the eye. To what do you attribute your success with Brim Cup? Mine is carp this year.

Irawon, one of them struggled last year but the three have really grown this year. Fertilized only when planted (compost, cow manure), no direct sunlight just dappled, loads of pine needles, sandy rocky soil and a generous aura of calm. That's it.
