Thank you for the input. I can see how different these two are at maturity. Per Paul's suggestion, I took pictures of the front and back of a leaf. Hopefully you experts out there can tell me which one it is.

I do know it's got to be one of the two, as they were the only ones I had planted in that area. We rented out our house for a number of years and the previous tenants didn't water anything and pulled quite a few name tags. Now this one is down to one eye and NOID. *Sigh*

Unfortunately, both hostas have a vein count of 11 pairs...so that's not much help.

Thanks, Paul. I ordered another QOTS for this fall. I'm going to plant them side by side and see how it goes.

flower-frenzy, if those are the two possibilities, you should be able to tell definitively by looking at the flower scapes. Queen of the Seas will bloom June into July and have thicker flower scapes that stand erect. Cutting Edge has pycnophylla in its heritage and like pycnophylla, its flower scapes lay down horizontally just above the leaves. It will also bloom later, usually in August.
