one more question: dreaded nematodes

for the first time ever I have something wrong in the hosta garden. first there was one hosta that I thought might have nematodes but it had been dry so I didn't deal with it. now the hosta next to it looks the same. the two hosta are in a bed of old established babies of mine, I don't want to lose a one. so, what do I do? its almost fall...I could cut the two hosta back and then treat them and the ground around? or would you just bite the bullet and dig the two hosta out? it breaks my heart but I would rather lose the two than all of them. I truly appreciate your help. love this forum. thanks, andi
