BK-mine is just a baby, and nothing to write home about, but the coloration has looked pretty much like this all season long. If anything, it's gotten brighter in the centers. It gets sun until about 1:30 pm.

FF, that's what I expect mine to look like next year. I just assumed it was just stressed from being at the nursery for several months. I am hoping someone knows.

Doesn't look like June Fever to me, but stick it in the ground and see what you get. I'd want it to have a fair amount of sun to bring out the bright shiny yellow you should expect.

BK, I got mine last year from Naylor Creek. I kept it in a lot of shade, and this is what the picture looked like in November 2012.

This spring, it has been located in morning sun, and I haven't moved it from that one spot. So here it is in July

More than likely, if it is placed in some morning sun, the color will change some. But avoid afternoon sun. In the early part of this season, it was a really bright color with a narrowish dark green margin. Here it is May 6, 2013.

Thanks, Mocc. I thought that might be the case. It's that guy who buys the starts from Walters and grows them out himself. so, I knew the plants were clean.

I think it will be fine, Steve. Well..... I hope so, anyway.
