Antioch is a good guess, Don. I'm thinking it might be Fortunei Albomarginata, a similar cultivar. In either case it should do well when it's no longer competing with all that surrounding vegetation. It should probably be able to take a good amount of sun, so don't be afraid to give it 4 hours or so of direct sunlight. Give it some well amended soil, but no fert if you are moving it in the fall. Plenty of water to get the roots established before frost and you'll be well rewarded in the Spring time.

I think it is Antioch too, due to the highly variable margins and some streaking of the margin back towards the center. A nice old hosta :)

An older variety, registered in 1979, but no matter. It's still a great white-margined hosta. One the size of yours would make a great specimen plant in a prominent spot. : )

I am so used to our local 'common' white margined green hosta being U. Albo. I wanted to jump on that bandwagon, but I think I would be wrong. Looking at the edges I agree Steve, it is Antioch. The "u", meaning undulated, is not there. Age is also a clue, right?

I'll join the Antioch bandwagon :-). I found out recently, by posting, that what I thought was So Sweet is in fact Antioch. Lovely hosta....it had golden creamy colour until a week ago, now margins are white. Still lovely....an oldie but goodie.
