AS USUAL, all look great
Just put in a new bed I'll post later ......so I'd love to see yours. Any of them do better with sun than others?

oohhh... hate the name (one of the few movies ever to produce recurring nightmares in an otherwise sound sleeper), but I'm really liking that Deliverance! It has Elvis Lives in its heritage - another one that I dislike the name but really like the plant...

Reading about your enthusiasm and seeing your preparations, I feel like I can see into the future - and the future is STUNNING!

Wow, look at those roots. Being from Hallson Gardens, though, I can't say I'm surprised. Very nice, enjoy!

Nice plants, I have Irish Luck, new from Hallsons this spring. It is getting about 4 hours of direct sun from 1 pm untill 5 pm; due to the unfortunate loss of my neighbors tree... seems to be holding up really well with no burned leaves. It has grown really fast compared to some of my others.

Lovely plants with awesome root systems. My "small" order from Hallson's is anything but small any more. That's the danger of ordering early...they let you keep adding until they ship! Lol.

I have never ordered from Hallsons, but after seeing the lovely plants, will have to rethink my hosta source next Spring. How do they charge postage? Per plant or total weight? Ken, thanks for directing me to the hosta forum. What an education I am getting after all my years of growing. Thought I knew a lot about growing, but still learning from these young uns. Mary

Hi Mary,

Hallson Gardens charges by dollar amount of plants shipped, and by where you live. They really do have Grade A+ hostas for sale. To me, opening a box from Hallson Gardens is like Christmas in the off-season.

I have Dancing Queen in morning shade with an hour or two of afternoon sun, depending on the time of year. Although it looks OK, I will be moving it to more sun next year as I think it needs more sun-both for better color and growth. Others on this forum have said as much. I agree to what others are saying about Deliverance it looks great, going on my list.
