Nice plants! Mine gets too much sun and gets a little beat up looking this time of year. Yours in bright light managed to burn off the blue wax and go to white in the center without significant damage... nice look.

I still prefer the one from less light, with the subtler colors.

I guess there is no surprise the colors follow its parent, June. The primary differences in the two are all related to the ploidy... TOC is tetraploid, June is diploid... to TOC has more substance, is thicker leaved and has stiffer petioles, and has wider margins. I think it tends to bleach out a little slower for me than June, perhaps just because of the thicker leaf...

'Touch of Class' is a favourite in my garden, looking rather pristine while many of the competitors are a bit bedraggled.
Mine has a southern exposure, but quite shaded.

Can any of you 'Touch of Class' owners tell me how TOC size is compared to 'June'? Since it's a tetraploid, does it stand to reason it stays a little smaller?

So I dont know about finished size but my TOC grows faster than June

I've had 2 Junes and one TOC next to each other for about 10 years. They get a little sun. Leaves are the same size, but (opposite of leafover) my Junes have increased faster so are fuller than TOC. Love them both!
