I thought this plant was like all the other green Hosta's I have until I realized it had what appeared to be a burnt looking edge on the leaves. Not sure if this is a trait or a health issue. It also bloomed later than the other Hosta's ... Still flowering - purple. One of the larger leaves measures 2 1/2" x 4"

I'm bumping this back to the top for a second look. I'm wondering if this edging is a disease. Sharing your ideas is much appreciated.

i would write off the brown edge.. as some lack of water.. for a very short time ... or very superficial frost damage that didnt show up until the heat of summer ...

its not normal ... and not disease.. as far as i know ...

when you run out of space... this ought to be high on the list of plants to sacrifice to the hosta vendors.. lol ...

IDing a plain old green plant.. is near impossible ... IMHO
