Thanks for showing this picture! This is a very nice plant! So it takes 9 years to get a very nice mature plant. I have one growing for 4 years now in a semi-sunny and well watered bed, is now only 1 ft tall, is to be 30 inches tall when mature. I still hoped, and there is hope now. This is my second one, the first one had some rot in its first winter. Bernd

Those muted colors with that subtle wavy leaf is beautiful. Shame it is such a hard to grow hosta. Have a small Hudson Bay which says it is a sport of Eskimo Pie. Hope when it matures has that same soft coloring.

Thanks for sharing hosta buff. That's a gorgeous specimen and it gives me something to look forward to. I got mine last year as a one gallon plant and seems to be happy.

I had one, on my first ever hosta order back in 2010. Sad to say, it did not flourish, and died in 2012.

Insead of replacing it, I got Hudson Bay, its sport. Which is doing better but not as exciting as Eskimo Pie, IMHO. I did not know the problems with white leaves on hosta. Who knew!

Yours is a beauty, and it does well, where it is, I would not want to touch it..
