I am pretty sure I have about 50 of the Undalata Erromena growing on my property .... Maybe 50!is a stretch, but at least 30. I know Ken would tell me to toss them. I am slowly but surely moving them to the outer edges.

I thought they were all the same until they bloomed. The flowers on most were a lavender, but on 5 of them they were the most intensely purple you've ever seen. These 5 also set pods heavily. Wish I would have taken pictures .... But I did not know better than.

When I looked closer at the plants these have a bit darker and heavier leaf. The slugs don't care for them much either. The largest leaf is 9" x 5 1/2". The regular plants largest leaf was 7" x 4".

Any ideas on the Hosta with "intensely" purple flowers
