Put her in the back. If she is anything like my Elegans she will be VL when mature.

Thanks for the advice. Honestly, I didn't think it would probably fit - just hoping. It will mean juggling plants around to accommodate its "fat bottom." It was an unexpected gift. It just won't be as noticeable in the back.

After much hacking of tree roots, tilling and amending the soil and relocating two other hosta, I got this sucker planted, In a few years he will be kissing the Wu.

Looks good DD. The great thing about hosta's is that they work so well together or with just about any other plant.

What do you think, is that first one planted too deep?

Really like this hosta. That deep coloring and puckering is a great combo.

Wu and CFRV might make an interesting, super-giant puckered hybrid marvel. : )

Wish I had arrived in time to save you some trouble, DD. I have Clear Fork River Valley, and it is of course in a pot, but it is not going to be a huge plant. I know, I know, but Jeff grows em big. After they come back next year in normal conditions, it won't be that tall.

I'll show you mine., which may be a ML one day....in a pot.
Just so you put it where folks can admire it, it will be a winner.
