Hostahillbilly, I like the way you garden! We love creating little sitting spots here and there. We tend to put benches, tables and chairs, or swings here and there for people to just be able to sit down and enjoy. I loved your path thread too. I'm curious though, about whether you have any problem with deer. From the photos, not so much. I've really avoided hostas at our wooded camp but after looking at your photos, maybe I'll get brave enough to start putting some in right out in the wooded areas (all of our gardening there now is done in two clearings or around their perimeters. I'm not thinking high priced specimens here, but maybe just some common varieties or seedlings to pretty up the pathways a bit.

I am sure they would be lovely, with some fresh herbs or such from the garden, and some other canned goods on the side, especially if enjoyed at one of your seating places in the garden! Yep, we gardeners are ethical, right down to home grown and locally sourced food!
