My hosta all seemed to go at the same time too except for the June and family. It must be why she is one of my favorite hosta

June does like to hang on. I have five of them. Three are in the ground and two are in pots. Here is a photo of two in the ground.

These are all 'June' ... from 2 plants originally that I divided to cull the blue sports. The smaller divisions are finally going, but the big ones are hanging on - gotta love this beauty! :-)

This is my June taken today. It has been in a place with all afternoon direct sun so color is lighter.

Another June hanging on and doing well. It's probably my best June out of the five that I have. This one got a couple of hours sun each day. It's kept in a pot.

Your June looks like a mature one, is it 3-5 yrs old maybe? No way that hosta is ready to call it quits! It's beautiful, HH :-)

Not the latest thing in my camera, but here it is later in September. It has not changed much, since our weather is moderate with some temps in the 50s. I hear we are due to get some temps in the 40s this week. That should bring down the ones in the coolest spots of my garden.

Most of my hostas are totally dormant now, but 'June' is still fully awake, as of tonight.

Were you asking me how old my June is Jo? I have had it for three seasons. In 2011 it had 1 eye, 2012 (3 eyes) and in 2013 (7 eyes). I think that that is good growth.

Thanks. It is amazing considering that the forward part of the bed, including June and Touch of Class, was just transplanted in September. Usually, fall transplants just flop over and wait for spring. I was lucky to get big root balls at transplant time. Halcyon and family are pretty tough hosta.

We could have frost this week. I better enjoy the view while I can!
