Their site has been updated for a couple days already. Already placed an order for spring - lol. It's a sickness! Pam |

With the slow down at work, Dh and I agreed to order hosta instead of exchanging christmas presents this year. Naylor Creek will be receiving an order soon. mao

Phew! Panic avoided-mine arrived today! Plan to browse after the little beasties and goblins are finished ringing the bell tonight. Or maye I will just turn out the light early and start looking now!

Hope to get my order in before the SOLD OUT! sign goes up on some of the ones I want. Waited too late to submit my order this past winter and couldn't get some of the exclusive, limited ones. Didn't have any little ghosts and goblins appear this evening, as we have mist and showers, windy and temperature dropping. Guess the parents wisely kept the young ones home. A lot of H1N1 cases in this area. Some schools were closed because of excessive absenteeism.

Did anyone notice the hosta postage stamp on the envelope - clever! I also noticed that they did not list Five O'Clock Somewhere this year - one I was hoping to add to my order.

That hosta postage stamp caught my eye before anything else in the pile of (mostly) junk mail. Very clever. -Babka

Just found I made a $400 error in cheque book some months ago (don't ask why it's taken me that long to confirm it!?) anyway, the error has stayed stable for 3 months, so I figure it's found money. Now weighing whether I can consider it a gift from the hosta gods and use some of it for Naylor Creek order... I'm leaning towards thanking the gods very much and taking advantage of the 20% off and free shipping... I've been incredibly happy with the Naylor Creek Hostas I bought from the Hosta Library Auction this year, so the catalogue is too tempting. Jakki

I just received the Naylor Creek catalog for the first time. Wow, it would be so easy to spend a fortune! The photos are so tempting. Thank goodness, I don't have much room for more hostas. I added about 30 varieties this summer, so I should be content with watching them grow next year, but, man, would it be fun to splurge! How large are the hosta that Naylor sends out?

The hosta are really healthy, but the most impressive part of the Naylor hosta are the roots. They are amazing! After I placed my order, Gary let me know that it was good I ordered when I did because one of my choices had already sold out. Jakki, how serendipitous! I definitely think your find calls for a celebration-treat yourself! Cynthia

I downloaded the catolog and was wondering where you found the 20% off and free shipping? I would be interested in taking advantage of that offer or is it just in the paper catalog? Every penny you can save allows you to get an extra hosta. Please let me know. Thanks. Connie

My printed catalog came with a seperate sheet that reads: "Early Bird Specials for our regular customers". (1) is 10% off and free freight on orders of $200 or more placed by December 16, 2009. (2) is free freight on orders of $125 or more placed by January 20, 2010. Then there is a special offer for ordering gift certificates. Jack and Gary are very accommodating. You could phone or e-mail them to see if you can work something out. -Babka

Do you order now,and they ship in the spring? It's getting kinda late to be planting, isn't it? cAROL |
RE: Just got my 2010 Naylor Catalog!

I received my order confirmation and it stated they would begin shipping during the week of 4-1-10. That's usually after the last frost date in my area. Those of you in the more northern climes may be scheduled at a later date, to avoid plant damage during transit. Check your order confirmation to see if they included a shipping date.

I've been looking at the catalog and am thinking I could get into quite a bit of trouble there. . lol Several of the garden shops in my area closed for good this year. . I was wondering if it was going to be that way with the places I mail order from.
