There's one in the trial garden at the Dallas Arboretum. It looks exactly like So Sweet. They patented the name for the "Sun Hosta", describing it as a sport of So Sweet.

BKay, did you find a "Sun Hosta" or H. SUN? whatever? I know you love So Sweet, wonder if its sport has any unique features that improves on its lovely parent....

If I run across one, I am thinking to give it a trial in my driveway bed near the street next year. In the ground. We'll see what it can take.

Nice plant, BK. However, it is a So Sweet look-alike in my estimation. And not all that different from Fragrant Fire with its shoe-sole looking leaves. I find So Sweet very tolerant of the heat too. My second of them arrived about mid summer, and I have a spare to test in less than ideal conditions.....when I can bring myself to do it. :)

Here is my first So Sweet on Sept 4 this year.

Do not see much to distinguish Sun Hosta from its parent.

You can't magnify the photo of the tag, but it says, Hosta Sun Hosta Grolink.
