Windex contain detergents, solvents, fragrance, Ammonia-Dî, and alcohol. The percentage of alcohol should not be a problem (could cool or dry out sensitive plants, 'tropicals') The detergent and alcohol will kill pests.

5% is plenty safe enough. Vinegar is 5% acetic acid, the fumes from 98% acetic acid will kill you for example. The detergent will help keep it on the surface. Sounds like a safe idea Ken.

Hmmmm, I see that some idle minds need rigorous exercise in the garden. How quickly we turn to frivolity and word games.....as my grandma always said, "Idle hands are the devil's workshop." ....sigh.....I don't feel a bit guilty for enjoying idle hours...or even idle days.
