| I think Ken probably has it with one of those he's named...if not, it could also be English Sunrise, May, or Zitronenfalter...all of which are very bright yellow in the spring. |

| I will go with Sea Fire, Dawns early light or Sun Power. It is more difficult when the leaves are not quite unfurled yet.. Denny |

| That definately is one bright hosta when it pops up in the spring! Does it stay that way, or turn green after a few weeks (viridescent)? |

My Fire Island turns green in summer. But when it adds new leaves in the fall, they are bright yellow. I think it makes a lovely contrast.
