Tongue Twister is a great hosta!

I guess that shouldn't be a surprise since here is how it is described in the hosta database.

With its dark green leaves that twist upward out of the clump, this great little hosta looks as fresh in October as it does in May. It has great substance, rich color, and is cute to boot. The light purple scapes produce light lavender flowers in September and light purple pods in October. My best "long season" hosta, still green here in late November!

Just as promised it was one of the very last to succumb to frost. And the last to bloom. This one is a gem.

Looked it up in the library, and it is a cutie patootie with its twists and turns.

Last weekend I was documenting my beds so I'd remember what was in them. I found this pic of Tongue Twister attending Spartacus along with a few other foot soldiers.

I really like TT, too. At first I thought I might have made a mistake getting one that looked too much like one I already have, Corkscrew. But Tongue Twister is still twisty and interesting looking, whereas my Corkscrew has straightened out with thicker leaves. Now they look very different from each other.
