| I have a little extra time, so I'll get another couple going. Here is a sweet hosta a lot of you will recognize.

| Tom Schmid has a very narrow, snow-white margin like that. |

| Good guess, Don, but this is a medium hosta that was registered in 1984 by Walters Gardens. |

| It looks like it could be Heartsong, but otherwise, Rising Tide? |

| Heartsong is correct. Very unassuming and sweet. |

| I have a NOID that looks frightfully close to this one. Does 'Heartsong' have reddish petioles -lower part- and is it fertile? I'll post a link below of the original NOID ID attempts in 2008. There are pictures of TWO NOIDs in this old posting, one with reddish pets, the other not. Pieter |
Here is a link that might be useful: NOID/Heartsong?

| Pieter, I've never noticed red petioles, but then I've never looked for them either. I can see, however, that the white margin on my Heartsong does not go down the edge of the petiole as it does on your second NOID. Here is a photo of the whole plant.

| Thanks Lois. Another one eliminated I guess.... Pieter |

| Pieter, Take a look at my second guess h. 'Rising Tide,' another 1984 Walters Gardens cultivar. The photos at Hosta Library resemble one of your NOIDs. The AHS registry has it as medium (36" w X 20" h), leaves 10" long X 6" wide, 12 vein pairs, leaf center is dark pruinose blue green, margin is "whitish creamy yellow to chartreuse," 26" scapes, flower color near white. |
