H. Golden Meadows vs. H.Temtation

Hello,
Does anyone know if there is a difference between these two? Perhaps a different (faster-slower) growth rate and possibly a slightly more rippled-wavy edge to H. Golden Meadows?
Thankyou

Good Luck growing either one. Just my input. Buy both and compare for yourself. If anyone has pictures of mature or near-mature plants, I would like to see them! ;-)

As far as I'm concerned, both plants are just Great Ex revisited. Tough to grow well, but there are grand specimens out there, I am sure.

Please don't say that. I love my Golden Meadows and don't want it jinxed.
Mine has been in the ground about two years and is doing well so far. It's enchanting in the spring, though easy to walk by any other time of the year. I love the ruffled edges and the way the early leaves hold themselves up for presentation. I had not even heard about Temptation before.

Golden Meadows and Temptation are identical, even though they're both sports of Elegans. I think they're very attractive in the spring when they're colorfully variegated, but rather boring in the summer once they turn all-green.

Here are some pics of Temptation:

For a better (but smaller) hosta that holds it nice white center all summer long, you could try hosta Andrew. It's a fairly new introduction offered by Shady Oaks Nursery.

Oops, that first statement on my previous post should read,"Golden Meadows and Temptation are NOT identical".
