seeds from tokudama flavocircinalis

This fall I have planted a lot of hosta seeds in a corner of my vegetable garden. Today I found a nice bunch of seed pods on the tokudama flavocircinalis. Seeds from this plant will not yield plants true to the parent- right? Will my chances for seedlings be increased by waiting until spring to plant the seeds?
