if you are saying yours is NBC.. you might note.. junkies has a white center.. and your has a white edge ...

and it looks like a pretty washed out CT????

nope mine is Christmas tree. I was referring to size of her plant. All can't be perfect until they are given a fighting chance. Mine got too much sun so had to be moved. I am sure you can show us all a perfect one though Ken

I should edit the she to HE.. am so use to in my neck of the woods where it is the ladies that garden and tend to forget the men can so a darn good job too! NICE plant Tom! lol

I'll add that NBC is, far and away, the most reliable white-centered Hosta here, so is oft used where a white-centered one is needed.

whilst i might agree.. there might be a white centered undulata ... which is more reliably used ...

but i think 'bud is wiser' .. might be much better .. lol .. mostly because it is so different.. isnt it????

Hey Ken, what books have you been reading? Perhaps I don't have the latest scoop on these, but I thought NBC is a sport of White Christmas, and Bud Is Wiser is a sport of Blue Mammoth. Lots of mine look the same with a little egg-nog... ;-)

Ha! a lot of mine look also the same with 2 Buds, though more with 2 Samuel Adams.
