Hi. I haven't been here for a while, my daylilies took all my time. Now its time to get back to hostas. Does anyone know of a hosta that looks like Island Charm but isn't quite as big? I have a small bed I want to redo. I would also prefer one that isn't to fast growing. I thought I had a pic of the bed but I don't. It already contains a rock, about 1.5' wide and 1' tall, with a orange/melon colored daylily behind it and a blue columbine on the west side. The daylily gets about 2 hours direct sun and the rest is in bright light with about an hour of sun. My hostas are mostly big ones so I thought a bed with some small ones would fit in nicely.

Marric,

Island Charm is a white centered variety that is listed as a small Hosta. It is supposed to be 9 inches tall. Are you looking for a Hosta that is smaller than that? If so you probably want a miniature Hosta like Pandora's Box. You might also want to look at Royal Tiara.

Thanks Steve. The seller here had it listed as 14" tall and I thought that was to tall, 9" is about right. I'll still check out the others you listed.
