Republicans want Santorum over Romney in Michigan.
If that holds up it could be large for Santorum who could do very well on Super Tuesday.
Surely you Republicans agree..

Not a Republican, but... From the International Business Times: "While Romney's campaign has hoped his economy-focused message will resonate in Michigan, Romney's past stances on the auto industry could be a liability. He opposed the bailout credited with helping to resuscitate the ailing sector, in 2008 penning a New York Times op-ed entitled 'Let Detroit Go Bankrupt'." I'm sure that chaps Michiganders more than they're actually falling for Santorum's let's all rush headlong back to the Dark Ages stance. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd like to see Romney or ANYONE squash Santorum's run like the bug it is. I'm a bit beyond the need for birth control myself, but want every woman who wants and needs it to have affordable and easy access to it. Poor Mrs. Santorum: wonder if she has little x-stitched pillows "Yes" or "Not tonight, dear".

Well, I honestly don't care which clown gets out of the car first here in the Great Lakes State. All of them pretty much belong somewhere on the same continuum of crazy.

Well, if it can't be Gingrich, Santorum is just as good. I want us to take the House back. Tell me the Republican Party isn't in the midst of mass insanity. -Ron-

Romney's slide since FL certainly has something to do with his Bainsian bankruptcy and liquidation plan for our auto and housing industries. For most Republicans it may just be that they are just not comfortable with this guy because he has flipped on so many issues and does not seem sincere or genuine. GOPers are beginning to get nervous about the fact that he may not be their best hope to try and take down Obama, who they hate. This may explain why this GOP nomination process has been such a charade. It has been all about trying to take down Obama rather than seeking a candidate with a sensible vision for the future. They may not be able to win on negativity and Obama hate sprinkled with wedge social issues and trickle down economics ....but it looks like that is their plan. |

I'm rooting for Santorum. Has anyone figured out how he'll win PA when we voted his ass out in 2006?
