Jallianwala Bagh & Gun Control.

At Jallianwala Bagh, two armored cars armed with machine guns could not get into the gardens because the entrance was too narrow.
Imagine the carnage if those two engines of war had gone into the gardens!
I submit that on 13 April 1919, gun control saved many lives.
It demonstrates that engines of war must be confined to waging of war.
It can be argued that this was by accident.. even Divine Intervention!
Whatever!! I'll take gun control by any and all means.
At Jallianwala Bagh, "Firing continued for approximately ten minutes. Cease-fire was ordered only when ammunition supplies were almost exhausted, after approximately 1,650 rounds were spent.[1]
I have to believe that these rifles did not have large magazines - if any at all.
Think about it 10 minutes! 1650 rounds; 50 riflemen
Dyer ordered soldiers to reload their rifles several times. source.
Imagine the carnage if those guns had large magazines and / or were automatic in firing action.
This presents a great case for limiting the size of gun magazines even in Law Enforcement activities.
