| I gather from most of you libs on this forum that you are very upset with croney capitalism. This is something on which we agree. Now what do you propose to do about it? Are you in favor of rewriting the tax code so politicians can't cut deals with corporations? to eliminate manipulating the tax code to (dis)favor certain sectors of the economy? |
Follow-Up Postings:
| It's spelled "crony." |
| Now what do you propose to do about it? "move to amend" So what are republicans proposing to do about it? |

| What do republicans have against closing loopholes? What is their problem with something that seems so logical? |
| I don't think that politicians should be able to take any money from any person or corporation. They should be citizen politicians doing the work for citizens for the simple goodness of doing their civic duty. Do we have to rewrite the tax code to do that? Or what do you mean by "cut deals"? |

| Wait! Perhaps we have missed the subtlety of the OP. The question had to do maybe with Crone-y capitalism, a phrase rich in sexism and agism. I see the pattern with corn-opean as a handle. |
| Subtle, nah the after taste is most decidedly pedantic contempt! I myself have several good recipes and it is certainly in the realm of that kind of watery porridge! |

| I gather from most of you libs on this forum that you are very upset with croney capitalism. Right away when I saw this sentence, I expected a short essay from a PhD, likely in English or PoliSci. Few things are more clear in the italicized than how easy it will be for everyone to be able to weigh the odds of high intelligence and incisive argumentation, no? |
| LOL. Every government is a crony government, back into the mists of history. Why should it change. |
